Prototyping
I never seem to have enough time to follow up on all the ideas for advancing education that pop into my head - especially when it comes to personal experiments with creating digital learning tools and games. As a way to keep myself honest - and perhaps give myself an additional push to take some basic thoughts from digital "sketches" to usable tools - here are some basic prototypes for you all to play with (and hopefully comment on). If it seems worth following up on, please tell me why and how I can make it usable. If not, let me know that, too, so I can focus on my other projects. Click through, enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Fraction Beats
Based on a typical digital music editor, just place the different fractions onto the timeline to create fresh fraction beats.
GRAvity Switch Game
Not as "educational" as the others, but it's still fun! A game that has (my own) music playing a key role to drive the game.
FActoring Blocks
Or "addition blocks." Or something. Playing with physics and math to make some block creations. VERY early-stage concept.

The "Collaborator"
Can be used for a more fair process of "voting" , as a lesson on probability and sampling, or as a 21st Century Magic Eight Ball.
HCI visual Calendar
Again, not necessarily "educational," but here is a rough design for a "visual" calendar - where color-coding and scaling can help you understand what you have coming up, at a glance.
